The hotel offers quirky pub-style rooms with very nice tea and coffee making facilities. While the rooms were spacious with the biggest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel room, they appeared a bit tired and dated, needing some refurbishment. The service was outstanding, with staff who couldn't do enough for us, even going out of their way to assist with parking permits. The location is perfect for exploring Harrogate center, being close to shops, bars, and central sights. The dining experience was excellent, offering a variety of hot and cold food options, including a fantastic full English breakfast. The hotel facilities were fully stocked and convenient.
The hotel was a mix of great features. The rooms were a great size, very clean, and comfortable with fantastic natural light, but there were some issues with darkness and poor shower pressure. The service was friendly overall, although there was an incident with entering the room against the 'do not disturb' sign. The location was superb for the town center, with live music as a bonus, but parking was a bit tight. Dining offered a lovely breakfast buffet, with a slight hiccup in service. The hotel had excellent amenities with some minor flaws.
The hotel is something a bit different in Harrogate brasseriere, only a 5-minute walk to the train station and surrounded by great amenities. The rooms, though lovely with a roll-top bath, lacked sufficient storage space. The service was pleasant overall but a bit lacking in attention to privacy. The central location, close to main attractions and free parking, was convenient. The dining experience offered lovely meals, especially the homemade Belgian waffles. The facilities were good, catering well to guests.
